OUR WORK IN PRACTICE
Over the past year, The ClassWomb has supported Black mothers through multi-month cohorts, in-person gatherings, and virtual sessions designed to meet women where they are.
This work has included:
-
Facilitating extended cohort experiences for pregnant and postpartum Black women
-
Hosting in-person gatherings centered on connection, education, and care
-
Offering guided conversations around matrescence, stress, communication, and medical advocacy
-
Creating space for reflection, nervous system regulation, and community support
The program continues to evolve based on lived experience, participant feedback, and the needs of the community.
What Has Been Built
What Our ClassWomb
Mamas Said!
“I thought it would be a PowerPoint sit-and-learn… realizing, it’s not that at all—we’re actually going to be in community.”
“To me it was a healing process. The ClassWomb really exceeded… for mamas to heal inside out.”
“Every session shifted something for me… it helped me tune back into being the mom that I wanted to be.”
“Everybody was down to earth… vulnerable… not one person was better than the other.”
“It’s a sisterhood… a community… where you learn how to take care of yourself before pouring into everyone else.”
“Navigating this new chapter within my motherhood was made a lot easier… because of the program.”

Pillars of The ClassWomb
Mental Health
Emotional Intelligence
The ClassWomb supports mothers in nurturing their minds and spirits through nervous system regulation, emotional release, and holistic self-care—helping them cultivate resilience, joy, and balance for themselves and their families.
By understanding and managing emotions, mothers can break unhealthy cycles, communicate effectively, and create a peaceful, nurturing environment for themselves and their families.
Spiritual Wellness
Through mindfulness, intergenerational healing, and emotional renewal, we help mothers cultivate inner peace, resilience, and alignment. When a mother is spiritually grounded, she creates a foundation of harmony and strength for herself and her family.
Natural Medicine
Healthy Marriages & Co-Parenting
In The ClassWomb, we honor these time-tested remedies to support emotional balance, physical well-being, and spiritual connection. By integrating natural medicine with mindfulness and modern insights, we help mothers cultivate resilience, harmony, and deep-rooted wellness for themselves and their families.
Whether together or apart, co-parents who prioritize harmony and well-being lay the foundation for intergenerational healing, fostering healthier relationships for their children and future families.
